Who do you trust?

A group of scientists and botanists were exploring remote regions of the Alps in search of new species of flowers. One day they noticed through binoculars a flower of such rarity and beauty that its value to science was incalculable. But it lay deep in a ravine with cliffs on both sides. To get the flower someone had to be lowered over the cliff on a rope.A curious young boy was watching nearby, and the scientists told him they would pay him well if he would agree to be lowered over the cliff to retrieve the flower below.The boy took one long look down the steep, dizzy depths and said, “I’ll be back in a minute.” A short time later he returned, followed by a gray-haired man. Approaching the botanist, the boy said, “I’ll go over that cliff and get that flower for you if this man holds the rope. He’s my dad.”His whole assurance was based in the fact that his father was trustworthy.

Calvary Temple Development Complex!!

Kanisa letu la Calvary hapa Arusha lipo katika project kubwa sana ya ujenzi wa jengo jipya la kanisa. Project hiyo iliyoanza mwishoni mwa mwaka juzi hatimaye wiki hii msingi umeanza kuchimbwa. lakini kabla ya msingi ilibidi kwenda katika eneo la ujenzi na kuliweka wakfu kwa Bwana kwa kufanya maombi mahali hapo na kuombea hata udongo utakaobeba jengo hilo. Ibada hiyo ya kuluiombea jengo letu hilo ilifanyika jumapili iliyopita ya tarehe 26 Jul 2009. Hizi ni baadhi ya picha.

Mzee wa kanisa, ndg Kiondo akichimba udongo katika eneo la ujenzi ili uwekwe wakfu na kufungulia rasmi kazi ya ujenzi wa Calvary temple Development Complex.

Mchungaji Wambura ambaye ni mhasibu mkuu wa TAG akiomba katika eneo la ujenzi.

Wazee wa kanisa wakiwa wamewakilisha washirika wote kwa kuushika udongo na kuuombea.

Vijana pia walikuwepo ambao ndio hasa watakao kuwa viongozi na washirika katika jengo hilo jipya. Kulia ni Victor wa Makere na kushoto ni Ivan.

Hili sijui niliite gari au boti linapatikana huko San Diego. Kama ambavyo umeona linaweza kutembea kwenye nchi kavu na hata likiingia kwenye maji safari inaendelea. Natamani lingekuja Tanzania na hasa Dar es Salaam. Lazima kungekuwa na route ya Gongo La mboto - Kigamboni!!

Baboons have been issued with ASBOs after breaking into car rooftop luggage boxes at a drive-through safari park.

The baboons had a field day with this case of clothes

A number of families visiting Knowsley Safari Park in Merseyside have had to watch helplessly as the cheeky monkeys disappear up the trees with their clothes.
The Anti-Social Baboon Orders had to be issued at the height of the holiday season and guests were advised to avoid the baboon enclosure.
Park general manager David Ross said: "Their technique involves the largest baboons jumping up and down on the box, flexing it until the lock bursts open, when the rest of the baboons pile in to see what they can find.

The perfect accessory

"Obviously, we're well used to them helping themselves to the odd wing mirror or wiper blade, but this has taken things to a whole new level.
"Let's face it, nobody wants to see a baboon running up a tree with their underwear.
"For this reason, we now issue a warning to all visitors with luggage boxes as a matter of course.
"Unfortunately though, we still get drivers who don't think it will happen to them and they decide to take a chance.
"That's why we recently staged a demonstration to show the reality of the risks drivers face.

The baboons carefully chose colours to suit them

"The baboons were into the luggage box on our car within minutes and absolute mayhem ensued.
"We will now be able to show photographs of this incident to visitors with cargo boxes who may be thinking of playing Russian roulette in the monkey jungle."
There are currently more than 140 baboons at Knowsley Safari Park and visitor surveys consistently show them to be the attraction's most popular exhibit.
